Yesterday, I really really wanted a dog. This thing has been going on since I was little. Unfortunately my mom doesn’t want a pet, but I do. We made a deal that if I do all the research, test out what a dog is like by borrowing my grandparents and the building allows pets then we can get one. Right now I’m still doing all the research. I can’t wait until the research is done.
So far in my research, Havanese is the dog breed that would be best for me. We’re probably going to get a Havanese because it was recommended by two people on our walk yesterday. Havanese are great with children and an awesome breed of dog, they are a great size (small), and they are super cute!
Yesterday I learned about spaying and neutering….eeuwww….so sad! I was terrified when I found out about that. I also learned that there’s 10 plants that can poison pups so I need to know what they are so I can protect my dog. I also found the closest vet and animal hospital to my house. We live on 84th street. The hospital is on 86th street and the vet is on 83rd. I learned that Tiffany, my grandparents dog, is a Yorkie.
I still need information specific to the Havanese because when I started doing my research I thought I was going to get a West Highland White Terrier. I need information about living with and training my dog. I also need information about all the costs involved.
This is a Havanese.

Go for it!
Don’t forget that you need to take the do to walk every day in the morning and in the evening.

I’m sure Tiffany wouldn’t mind visiting you in New York to assist you with the doggie training, lol. She’s a handful though so you better be prepared.

Thanks Papa, I won’t forget to walk it.
I would love that Titi. I’ll be prepared, don’t worry.

Hi Anika!
I’m glad to see you blogging again!
What fun to research for the right dog for you and your whole family!
If you find any little dogs with a poodle mixed in their breed, they won’t shed. Our little dog is a poddle/shitzu mix, and she doesn’t shed her hair.
There’s also a cost involved with pets, little pets tend to have to get groomed more, which costs money, and big pets tend to eat more which costs more money.
I like little dogs better, but Steve likes big dogs more!
