This video has moved to my mom’s website liliflower.com because I do not want it on my website anymore.
On Friday (3-14-08), I had a sleepover/ movie night on the floor of my living room with my mom, my brother and myself. We watched High School Musical 2 Extended Edition (the extended edition part means that it has a part that wasn’t shown in original movie). My mom fell asleep half way through but me and my brother stayed up the entire time. While we were watching the movie, Dante was what we called “our waiter”. It was fun because we gave him our orders and then he would go get them from the kitchen. I made the bed on the floor. My mom took down the couch mattress and slept on it because she said her back would hurt if she didn’t. Everything went well and it was even better when we woke up and made French Crepes. It was one of my best movie nights ever.

Yesterday, I really really wanted a dog. This thing has been going on since I was little. Unfortunately my mom doesn’t want a pet, but I do. We made a deal that if I do all the research, test out what a dog is like by borrowing my grandparents and the building allows pets then we can get one. Right now I’m still doing all the research. I can’t wait until the research is done.
So far in my research, Havanese is the dog breed that would be best for me. We’re probably going to get a Havanese because it was recommended by two people on our walk yesterday. Havanese are great with children and an awesome breed of dog, they are a great size (small), and they are super cute!
Yesterday I learned about spaying and neutering….eeuwww….so sad! I was terrified when I found out about that. I also learned that there’s 10 plants that can poison pups so I need to know what they are so I can protect my dog. I also found the closest vet and animal hospital to my house. We live on 84th street. The hospital is on 86th street and the vet is on 83rd. I learned that Tiffany, my grandparents dog, is a Yorkie.
I still need information specific to the Havanese because when I started doing my research I thought I was going to get a West Highland White Terrier. I need information about living with and training my dog. I also need information about all the costs involved.
This is a Havanese.

You might not know my friend Martha. She’s a fifth grader that goes to the school I used to go to (PS9). She was in “Snow White and the Ten Dwarfs”. It is a play. I went to see it and thought it was funny and the actors were very good. My favorite characters were the mirror on the wall, Greedy and Homey. Greedy and Homey were two of the three dwarfs that were added in. Greedy always wants stuff, she even asked Snow White, “How much do you want for that necklace?” It was funny. Homey is like a total hip hop dude dwarf. She says “Yo!” a lot. It was also very funny. The mirror on the wall isn’t that much like the one in the movie. It was funny because she was talking on the phone, eating chicken, and even asked the queen for a toothpick. One of the things I thought was the funniest was that she drank Windex. Basically you can see that it was pretty hilarious. Too bad it was only a school play and more people didn’t have the opportunity to see it.
Who’s seen the movie college road trip ? I have! I think it’s hilarious and a great daddy daughter movie. It was so good I saw it two days in a row. It is about an over protective father who doesn’t let his daughter “Melanie” make her own decisions. Then planned a college road trip with her and her little brother and his pig, Albert, join them along the way. During all of this there are some big comedy moments. I would suggest that anybody who likes comedy movies should see it. I won’t tell you anymore of the movie because it would spoil it.
Today’s Morning Journal Topic:
What was your favorite part of the March/April 2008 issue of American Girl magazine? Why?
my answer:
My favorite part was probably the short story The Mummy’s Secret by “Kathleen O’Dell”. I liked it because it was an exciting and mysterious story. In the story, my favorite part was at the end when Libby (the main character) gets surprised by her friend Sasha about how good of an artist she is. My opinion about the story is that it is very entertaining and surprising. I hope the next story in the next issue is just as exciting as this one.
I am getting homeschooled (again)!!!!!!!!!! Today is my first day of homschooling in 3d grade. Me & my mom have decided that we will keep doing something that I did in my class called “Morning Journal”. I will be writing every day in my notebook and that same day writing it as a blog post. Here is todays:
Todays question: What are you looking forward to in homeschooling? Why?
In homeschooling, I am looking forward to no homework, fun science, not waking up early, going to bed late, and fun! I am looking forward to no homework because I hate homework. I am looking forward to fun science because I remember fun science in California and now that I am bigger I can do more complicated things. I am looking forward to not waking up early because I do not like waking up early. I am looking forward to staying up late because I love staying up. I want to have fun because I want to have fun.
This is my morning journal for today. I will write again tomorrow.
